No-egg Omelet

The commercial battle for treatment of facial skin has taken on the aura of medieval magic. Facial skin rejuvenation requires the removal of the superficial layers (epidermis and a portion of the outer most dermis) to achieve a long lasting youthful change. There are many companies/vendors selling their wares for rejuvenation claiming no “down-time” and many practices are offering these procedures as a replacement for proven but recovery-cost treatments. To produce a change in the skin the above mentioned process has to take place. This causes injury which requires healing and therefore downtime of some length. The healing process is what rejuvenates the skin! Any treatment that offers no downtime does not result in long lasing or permanent change. You have to break the egg to make the omelet. Patron beware.
